Like many of my fellow dealers, I have grown up watching what this business really means to families and communities. Six months into my term as chairman, that perspective has only been reinforced by the stories we continue to see from dealers across Louisiana.
This past year’s #LADealersDoGood campaign highlights something that every generation in our dealerships understands instinctively: Taking care of our community is simply part of the job. Whether it’s the generation before us that built these stores, the current leaders navigating today’s challenges or the next generation learning the business, that sense of responsibility runs through all of it.
The charitable work featured in this issue isn’t about recognition. It’s about doing what makes sense for the towns and cities where we live, work and raise our families. It’s about employees stepping up, owners leading by example, and dealerships serving as reliable partners in their communities year after year.
As chairman, I am proud to represent an association made up of dealers who understand that success isn’t measured solely by what happens inside the dealership walls. It’s also measured by the relationships we build and the impact we make outside of them.
Thank you for the work you do every day on the lot, in the service drive and in your communities. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside you and look forward to continuing this work together in the year ahead.
